About this project

The Bade Hanuman Mandir at Palimar Matha serves thousands of pilgrims each year and is a central node of the Haridwar ecclesiastical community. Operating costs and grid-electricity demand have grown steadily over the last decade, and seasonal supply fluctuations leave the temple's core infrastructure vulnerable.

This initiative funds the installation of a 35 kW hybrid solar power system paired with high-efficiency solar water heating. The system is engineered to displace approximately 30 tons of CO₂ equivalent per year, while substantially reducing the temple's operational electricity expenditure.

The grant routes via SCF US, which forwards funding to the local site through our verified FCRA partner. All milestone certifications, vendor invoices, and third-party inspections will be published to this page as the installation progresses.
